Ocxc starts herE!
Run With Tradition
Established in 1984 with less than 100 runners, the Laguna Hills Cross Country Invitational has grown into one of California's premier meets.
For 38 years, tens of thousands of harriers have raced the Kevin Dempsey Cross Country Course, named in honor of it's designer, the invitational's founder, LHCC Coach 1980-2005, who is affectionately known as the "Father of Laguna Hills Cross Country".
We have hosted generations of CIF and State championship teams and elite athletes who have gone on to NCAA and Olympic competition and glory.
It is our responsibility and goal to give Every-BODY who races our meet, a safe, challenging, fun, rewarding, and memorable experience.
Each runner has got to take that first step somewhere, and we are very proud to be that place in Orange County - OCXC STARTS HERE!
